Hello my name is Chris Chippero and welcome to my personal website. I game a game developer who graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014. I majored in Game Design and Development with minors in Computer Science and Psychology. I am a programmer by trade and love applying my skills to solve problems both in building games and other software. I pride myself on crafting a high quality experience for users. Creating something that makes someone’s life easier or more enjoyable is what I love to do and hope to do it for years to come.
I have a love for graphics programming and the challenges that go along with it. My skills include both high and low level programming. I have worked in the low level with assembly building an Atari 2600 game. I’ve been involved in building games using c++ and c#. I have also worked at the high level building websites like this one and more. I’m quick to pick up new skills and love a challenge.
Games have been a large part of my life. My interests in games has inspired me to build and create both inside of the game and out. Games can teach us about our limits and ourselves. Games challenge us to explore, to build, and to experience the world out side of the norm. There are games that challenge us to build, like Little Big Planet and Minecraft, to games that makes us explore the darker sides of life, such as Spec Ops: The Line and The Last of Us . These experiences are unique. I hope to one day be a part of a team that brings experiences like this to the world.
